Being a member of Honiton & Sidmouth Conservative Association means that:
- You have joined the most open and democratic political party in Britain.
- After the first three months of your membership, you will be entitled to a vote in Party ballots, selection processes etc.
- You will also have a chance to influence Party policy by letting us know your views.
- You can get involved with groups within the party - such as the Conservative Policy Forum, Conservative Women's Organisation, Young Conservatives etc.
- Each Autumn, you will be able to get a ticket for the Conservative Party Conference.
- You will be able to attend many social events within the party, with some excellent speakers.
- If you wish, you can campaign for the party and have involvement in the running of campaigning sessions etc.
- You can stand for the party in elections, take positions in branches, associations, areas and regions.

Any person living in the United Kingdom is eligible to join the Conservative Party. Applicants are not required to be registered voters or UK nationals. There is no upper or lower age limit on membership, although children under the age of 15 cannot be enrolled as full voting members.
